Chat to Text Widget

The Chat-to-Text widget allows you to add a pop-up to your website where customers can send you messages that you can then reply to via SMS or email, depending on your preference.

This section is where you can copy the code to your site, edit the appearance of the widget, and dictate how the flow will work. Here is how you can do that in your account.

Embed Widget Code: Along with instructions for embedding on your site, there is the code you can copy and paste to your site. We recommend making the changes you want on the right-hand side before making updates to the code so that you don’t add it before making updates.

Color: Here is where you can see the color of the widget and add your own branded color codes to it to make sure the styling matches your site.

Greeting: This will be what displays when someone clicks on the widget. While it will default to something like ‘Have a Question?’ you can change this to whatever you would like the message to be.

Here is how it appears on a site:

Contact Info Required: Once they click the send button, it then allows them to leave either a phone number or email address for you to respond to.

Opt-In Disclaimer: This will be sent to them when they send a message in as a way to verify they want to continue to receive emails or SMS messages from you. The wording below should more or less stay the same, but you can add your own wording to make it more personalized.

“You agree to opt-in to receiving text messages. Message & data rates may apply. You can opt-out any time by replying STOP.”

Auto-Response Message: This will be the message once they have accepted the above opt-in disclaimer that automatically is sent in response to their message. This can be something as simple as ‘Your message has been received. We’ll reach out to you shortly!’ to something more complex.
