Having a high complaint rate can hurt your credibility and potentially damage your email reputation score.

Your complaint rating is based on how many emails are getting marked as spam by the receiver. So the easiest and most affective way to decrease spam complaints is giving your sender an easy way to unsubscribe. Having people unsubscribe from your campaigns will positively impact your email reputation and ensure you’re only engaging with contacts that want to receive your emails in their inbox.


We would like for you to add an unsubscribe option at the top & bottom of your email. This can quickly be seen by people and will allow your database to easily unsubscribe.


  1. Go to Configuration > Email Configuration
  2. In the field boxes, paste in the following code after making the highlighted change, if it doesn't exist already:
